Trump's Granddaughter Gets Professional Guidance from Golf Legend Woods Before LPGA First Appearance

Young golfer getting ready for significant competition

The rising star boasts impressive online presence

The young golfer will have multiple high-profile supporters as she starts her LPGA debut this Thursday.

The 18-year-old athlete, who happens to be the granddaughter of a former US president, was granted a sponsor's invitation to participate at Florida's Annika event in the Sunshine State.

The former president, someone who loves golf, operates several golf courses and regularly plays against his granddaughter.

"He's pretty good. I can't say much but we have tight competitions," she revealed.

She mentioned that Trump, who won't be present, counseled her: "Just avoid anxiety."

"My grandpa essentially suggested to go out there and have fun," she explained.

"In my eyes, he's just an ordinary family member. He won't be there for the tournament. He's focused on running the country, making him somewhat preoccupied."

Being non-professional, Kai has competed in a mere three competitions recently and has ranking 461 in the American Junior Golf Association standings.

Yet she can get advice from 15-time major champion, who is dating her mother.

"He stands as the best player worldwide," the young golfer said.

"Furthermore, he's a superior human being. He advised me to go out there, relax, and go with the flow."

Kai will face several the biggest names in professional golf at this tournament, such as second-ranked the champion, England's Charley Hull, professional Thompson and last year's winner champion Vu.

Officials commented that involving Kai brings the sport to different demographics, particularly among younger fans.

The young star boasts a massive following and has started an exclusive apparel and wellness company.

Her first tee time at 5:30 PM GMT.
